9:14 well, nothing in physics CAN be 100% proven correct, but cosmic inflation is one of the most stable and solid theories rn with very few if any competition

Cosmic Expansion is, for all intents and purposes, proven. we can see very distant stars being redshifted due to the expansion. there are some models that would work without expansion and explain what we see, but these have far less real life evidence than the assumption that it expands,

Technically, we could send a James Webb-ish telecope as far as possible, that connects to the current one and give us an expanded vision, and so on, and so on... but it would take agesssss (literally). By that time is through, the universe could have expanded 1000x
