This definitely makes me think of Mortal Kombat. Like the game music, from the old games, not the movie soundtrack. You know, unpopular opinion but I actually quite liked Sub Zero Mythologies. It showcased the struggles of a ninja just trying to get by in a world of traps, barakas, sexy sorceresses, and one Quan chi, who was a double crossing bastard in in black metal corpse paint. I mean... That's my shit. It was bullshit hard though and required cheats by necessity due to poor game balance. Yeah your jam reminded me of that. Made me wanna fight a ninja in a tower where the floors could randomly be pits, and the ceilings could crush me at any moment. You can't see me but I'm blocking right now to the beat.

I'll always remember the original games with special fondness as I had to play them in secret at my friend's house because they were too violent for my mom to find out 😂 And then I'd see kabals stupid face with his weird screaming finisher and feel like I saw something I never should have and I was cursed now 🤷 Never played mythologies but watched some of it, I mean at least they were trying something new!
