It is almost impossible for me to create 3-4 videos daily. I have a 9-5 job, a kid to take care of , family to spend time with. It takes atleast an hour to record a video, 1-2 hours for the research, 2-3 hours for editing, 30 minutes for github update and video publishing, a total of 7-8 hours per video, do you think it is possible?

All the other pre-requisites are already covered in this series such as Docker fundamentals, dockerizing the app from scratch, docker multi stage build, docker storage, docker networking and not just docker it will also include some pre-requisite concepts such as how dns works, how loadbalancer works, how cronjob works in Linux,Horizontal VS Vertical scaling, how SSL certificate works, assymetric and symmetrics encryption, and a lot of Kubernetes concepts with demo.

In the cases where the image used for the dev environment and testing is different from that of the production environment, do we need to create different images?

We dont use seperate images for multiple environments. That's the whole idea behind using immutable infrastructure. If something is working in one env, the same should work in other environment as they uses the same binaries, libraries, code and dependencies. You actually tag the image with the env details and you can keep them in seperate repositories.

Hello Karnajeet, Just imaging the container as your VM but its lightweight that means the OS contains only the binaries and libraries required to run the application inside a container. You can run 100s of containers on a single VM without making any change to the VM. And its lightweight so you can ship the container from one environment to another without any issues. You have a dev, test and prod environment, you dont have to install the binaries and libraries on each environment, you can just build your container with all the required libs and binaries , package it and ship it from one env to another.
