Didn't realise the Wurzels were No1 47 years ago. We booked them for a fund raiser. They played in the Village Hall on the Saturday 5 days before they were No1 on #totp.

@@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer cheers Olly I was let down by the help that didn’t help with haylage so did everything bar carting in the field myself and it really took it out of me trouble is Parkinson’s makes you feel tired even before you do anything but I got there in the end having a couple of days rest before carting them home begins it is perhaps lucky I am only a small holder with only 300 to move even though it’s a 54mile round trip to home and field but it is great to talk to you just to sound off your a good man Olly

Any profit from farming should be tax free, all regulations should be cut by at least 25% within 3 years followed by rolling three year 25% cuts, inheritance tax on land and farms should be cut by half and by 10 each following year, all EU regulations concerning farming should be subject to a parliamentary inquiry to find out the origin and purpose and sponsors for each legislation and if no one (companies, enviro groups, NGO's etc) raises their hand stating well we came up with the idea of making farming more impossible it should be cut immediately not counting towards the 25% pool, if no one knows where regulations come from and their purpose get rid of them - you can always make new regulations but it's borderline impossible to get rid of any they take on a life of their own, and finally farming should be under special farming financing guidelines and institutions meaning that farming and farmers shouldn't be severely hit by interest rate hikes when the American Fed fights their wrongdoing on monetary policy expanding money supply causing inflations hurting farmers in Britain and causing food prices to skyrocket.
