I really enjoy these videos, even more than the influencer-style vlogmas which are just full of high energy shopping, travelling, laughing etc. This feels more like chatting with a close friend. Would love to see your recommendations like books, movies, other youtubers you follow for inspiration or just for fun. I'm currently working on my general burnout. I was also in public accounting (4.5 years at a big 4), and just never found my work-life balance. There's a lot of guilt when I'm not productive, but I'm not sure what I should do with my 'free time' anyway. It's hard not to compare, when friends move away to do grad school or higher paying jobs in exciting cities (e.g. New York, California..) I'm 28 now and people just laugh and say 'wait until you have kids' or 'be grateful for your free time'. You know how it goes :)

Yay, vlogmas!! Also had no idea you love HP! I really want to reread the books again soon but I also can’t get myself to sit still that long lol so maybe I’ll just settle and rewatch the movies soon. Big fan. Anyway, yay for December!

Yes I read all the books back in the day and looked forward to them releasing 😆 I'm the same way. There are parts of the books that I love more.... I hear the audiobooks are pretty good so maybe that's an option.... for us to multitask lol

Thank you for being so honest and showing us that everyone goes through different seasons of life. In this season, I am juggling a few things - Professionally, I'm in the transition phase of senior to possibly manager in public accounting and am still learning how to manage a large team and be more assertive. In my personal life, I am trying to stop overthinking work so much and make time to find a hobby and get back into working out without making excuses.

I’m so excited to see you do Vlogmas! 😭 I wasn’t sure if you were going to do it this year. Also, thank you so much for sharing your journey, and don’t ever apologize for your healing! Do it for you, and not for us! In this season in my life, I really have been struggling with friendships. I’m a sensitive person, so I take things to heart and I am such a people pleaser. I lost some really good friends this year, but I believe God has a purpose in my life. I’m learning to just be complacent with myself, and enjoying me time, and not be bothered by what people say about me. In the beginning of the fallout it was really difficult, but there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

I love that you are doing vlogmas and the fact you are being very transparent with us! 🧡 I personally am going through a healing journey too. For this season I want to first work on finishing my finals for graduate school and also just be productive. I feel that the last half of the year I have not been motivated to do anything productive so I want to give myself grace and just be present and grateful.

I love this Stephie! Real life stuff. Thank you for sharing your moments with us.🧡 I'm currently working on getting back out there in the working world. I've realised I will have to sooner or later. I was homeschooling for a bit which did help me out, made me feel a part of something important. I consider myself a sensitive person and have struggled with work enviornments a lot. I am now in the mindset that if I keep busy while at work, go-go-go time will pass quicker and the other sides of me might have the opportunity to shine. The sides that take pride in my work and love completing tasks. Happy Decembering!

I’m working on moving into my new apartment, while job hunting ( thinking of going back to the Big 4 lol) and dealing with- surprisingly- the loss of my current job. I resigned but every now and then I second guess my decision and if I’ll be happy with my new journey. But thank you for sharing your journey and don’t apologize for sharing your reality! Thanks for being real. Makes me feel better when i see others r not perfect. I'm currently working on transitioning into my role as a senior at a big 4 while also trying to balance my health journey! As a senior, there are definitely more responsibilities, which means it's busier. & I also find it difficult to want to work out after a long day of work in the evening as I'm not a morning person.

Thanks for being so honest. I've started a new job this November. My standards are so high that my thoughts are mean lately. My team hasn't said anything so far but I'm not happy with my own performance because its not anywhere near what it used to be just a couple months ago.

I am trying to navigate a new job I’ve been at since August, pass the last two sections of my CPA exam in 3 months, and still have enough energy to attend all my family events this month. I’m prone to sweeping things under the rug and pretending that everything is okay at all times (work wise and personally) and I want to be more honest with people so as to not constantly bottle things In. It’s a hard habit to break though!
