that's amazing your friended gifted you a cruise trip. let's trade friends😂my hubby & i are not tourist people either. if we do go on vacation we like to sleep in & just chill/relax. i don't even shop. i hate shopping! my hubby is happy about that😅we do eat at a fancy restaurant on our last day of vac. so that's our splurge. yeah so we are very boring vacationers😅 some people are shock or find it appalling that we don't do any excursions or sign up for tours. i say whatever! to each his own. our vac. is being away from home/responsibilities/never ending list of chores & chaos. vac. 8s where we can sleep in & do nothing. stay up late have a drink eat tons of food & snuggel. so enjoy your time together sometimes you need that to reconnect have good conversations without interruptions & just be together❤

On my last cruise, I got very...happy...at the piano bar, and danced wildly with an older gentleman, who had been sitting with his son. The son watched us frolic, 70s style, with an evil grin on his face. This son turned out to be the comedy headliner with ship entertainment. Dad and I provided most of the material for that night's set. 😲

typically carbonated drinks (soda) and alcohol is not included. Sometimes you can get a deal with it included though or if you are a loyal member of the cruise line.

I just got back from Phuket and I found it so relatable that you mentioned Thailand. Thailand is amazing! Been there twice and everything is so affordable. We did the elephant sanctuary but the ethical ones actually don't let you ride elephants because it's harmful to them. We fed and bathed them and it was the most amazing time. Plus Thai food is DELICIOUS. I highly recommend!!

Elephant Riding and even mud baths and touching the elephants is starting to be frowned upon on bc of the treatments of the Elephants. We recently visited Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai that rescues Elephants! You tour the facility and guests are not allowed to touch the Elephants. We were able to prepare Watermelons and Rice Balls and feed them which was great!

GIRL THE FOMO I am experiencing!! We usually do a Royal Carribean cruise every year but we can’t this year because I am 🤰🏻& they have rules. But MAN we LOVE a RC cruise my 4 yr old literally asks when we are going on our next cruise daily. I've been to the Bahamas 30 times over the past 50 years. Your ship will be in Nassau which is way too overdeveloped now. So avoid that. Nassau and Paradise Island have been b ruined by development. So stay on board and enjoy the ship when it's less crowded on port day.

A cruise like that is my worst nightmare but this is enjoyabe to watch from afar!!! LOL I think I would like a small ship with not too many people but that would cost way more than i could afford! i just wouldn't like the amount of people on a large cruise and it would just feel like a giant floating mall!
