Dear Dr. Alli - can you speak in your future videos about how you were able to build a successful business while working at the university? Did you have some sort of arrangement with your university regarding any profits that you make in your online business?

For sure! The short answer is that all schools are different but at my school I had to fill out an HR form about my business and the purpose of the form was just to show that I wasn't spending time on my business that I should be spending on my academic work. The nice thing about a digital products business is that you can run one on less than 5 hours a week depending on how you set it up. I didn't have to report any profits to my school. My business isn't directly related to my job (teaching math) so there is no conflict of interest.
