@@Vanlyf yeah just finished stripping it, I have the welcab version so it came with a huge wheelchair lift, I'll send ya a pic when I finish drawing my design. I have a few questions would be great to chat if you're keen.

@@Vanlyf I have seen Edward Lees and custom coaster conversions + another in Victoria....what other dealers in Sydney have the 4wd versions?....are you looking on carsales?....cheers.

Yes Edward lees bring them in, if you set your carsales parameters to show only hiaces with 4WD drive train you’ll get quite a few, I ended up flying to Melbourne to purchase mine originally.

@@Vanlyf I'm on NSW south coast and its a pain for viewing cars when they are spread out!....been umming and ahhing for awhile now as I have reservations about the life of these vans before import....the rust thing is a major factor...accidents and servicing etc......what about compliance and insurance mate any info you can pass on would be great?

Yea it is annoying as they seem to be all over the country! I was in the same boat before I got mine, I was worried about the high kms (255000) now on mine! But remembered all the Toyotas I’d had in the past that had similar or more kms and they were all super reliable! The rust is common on these, my 2018 has rust, my mates 2014 has rust, strangely this one in the video must be the only 4WD hiace in aus without rust! I looked at about 4 or 5 before choosing mine and they all had rust, some worse than others but I was sure to have the dealer who had it send me a lot of pictures before I flew to look at it. Compliance should be done when it lands in aus, you may have to get a weigh bridge ticket which isn’t super hard and rego and insurance was a little more complicated as they don’t have these models in the database, though with a bit of explaining it was all good! I’d recommend getting one that’s for sure!
