Hurrican Sally created a couple new islands on the end of Perdido Key. I decided to go camping out there for a couple nights. This is Day 1

What a cool adventure! ....maybe a Pelican kayak you could tow to you site and fish from there...Wife got me that same folding table for holidays for my canoe camping adventures....Thanks so much for the efforts and sharing your adventure! I'll be down again in late March! Hoping for more yummy Pompano fresh off the beach on the key! Trader Joes instant coffee ain't bad around camp....Breakfast tacos are the best camping food! Digging the camp stove! Wish I could catch some fish in Big Lagoon....walked the shore last time....didn't catch much...might rent a yak....this trip! Any day trip you wanna fish, be happy to have the company! I'll fish Big Lagoon while the wife and daughter hanging out at condo....LOL

Hello Greg, I had no luck there either but I am headed out to the same area very soon for a two or three night trip. Camping on the Gulf beach is something I want to do.
