One, I could watch you paint all day, plus the music was so beautiful and relaxing. Second, I completely understand the necessity to observe your reference, but I can not tell you how much having the reference up while you painted helped me. It helped me understand why you used certain colors, how you layered, your thought process. It was so beneficial! I was thinking you’d use purple on the left petal, but the blue worked perfectly and surprised me. That alone taught me something. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with us, I’m learning so much ❤️

Thank you! Blue is cool which always goes to lightest area and violet is warm which goes to shadow area. And I’m truly glad that you learned something new 🥰

Beautiful video. I am new to painting and realize from watching you, that I need to slow down and work on multiple layers. Thank you.

What brand of watercolours should I get to match exactly the order of colours u use? I m not sure what exact colours /hues they are. I'm in the Philippines. Would like to join if I can find the materials here on time. Thanks.

Try to mix from those watercolors that you already have. Reds, violets, greens. Always experiment with mixing, that way you will learn

Is this really kn one go ? Or do you blow-dry in-between. I did not seem to get passed the ugly phase until I realised that on the second pass u apply more concentrated thicker paint that sticks......😅 thanks gonna try once more. Once ,!!!!😊

Each new layer is applied on dry surface. But as my layers are super light I don’t need to wait for layer to dry, they do it while I work on other area

Regrettably I can not draw the rose I am beginner , but it's nice to see the tutorial 😉

This is quite an easy rose. Main two petals are visible and few little ones on the top. It is not like this is a fully bloomed rose with hundreds of petals 😉 at least try - challenge yourself 🥰
