That's a sweet machine. We bought a Pioneer a year ago. Primarily to push snow in the winter, but also general use and back country drives. We wanted a 520 but they were impossible to find around here (Montana) in 2024. We ended up with a Pioneer 1000. Love it. It looks like you could invert your receiver hitch, and get that trailer tongue up a bit higher and leveled off. Enjoyed your vid, thanks for sharing!

Thank you!! Damn you got a 1000! that's awesome!!! I really wanted a 700 but the size of the machine was crazy for us. Thanks for the heads up! I'll take a look at the hitch!

@@themintoshow We looked over the 700 too. The only thing kind of making me hesitate was that the 700 only has three forward gears. I just wasn't sure how that would work out pushing snow, or climbing. With the 1000 there is a 6-speed transmission plus high and lo range, so it has incredible versatility in that regard. Hey, nice looking firewood lot you have going there too! We also burn firewood, cannot beat the woodstove warmth in the winter. I'll try to link a pic here:

Oh wow, had no idea about the gear change from the 700-1000. Don't blame you going to the 6 speed transmission. Thanks! Seems like I'm always doing something with the wood yard. Where you live in Montana is beautiful!

You bet, I've been really happy with it. It's super handy.

Ours shifts a bit abruptly too, it's mostly noticeable between 1st and 2nd gear, not bad going to 3rd and on up. It's just the reality of an automotive type transmission I believe.

Totally agree with you! I hope it gets smoother with time!

I‘ve got the 2023, the shifting improves with a few miles on the odometer.

Do a quick clutch adjustment (takes literally 90 seconds). Between that and putting miles on it, she will shift smoother. I have a 2022

Oh man!! sweet! I will have to research the clutch adjustment!! Thanks for the information!

Do u wish you would of went with the 700 that way you would not have to use the trailer because the bed on the 700 would be bigger
@themintoshowАй бұрын
Thanks for the question! The 700 is huge. It never would have fit in my garage next to my tractor. The 520 really is perfect for us and our small property. I'm sure if I had more room and lots of property or trails to right I would have bought a 700 or 1000.

It’s made by polar industries. It’s the tandem axle 1200lb capacity. Great cart
