Bed bugs! Yikes!! I so loved hearing you just talk about the struggle. Even though you ran into a bedbug situation your demeanor changed to triumphantly enjoying the journey.

Kathy, yes, this was my biggest fear. I prepared for it and still got bedbugs. I survived though and enjoyed the days rest. And no, the hotel had the hair drier.

Have you seen the Martin Sheen/ Emilio Estevez film (movie) "The Way"? There's a bit of your video where you look back at Sansol and walk past the cemetery of Torres del Rio. Then stacks of bales of straw like where the three become four, though this happened before Torres del Rio in the film. Your toes were in a terrible state, looking at the photos. It's a bit late to suggest this, but what I found was a great way to give your toes more room is to re-lace your shoes so that you miss the bottom two holes (one each side) altogether. It takes the pressure off your toes. Keep this in mind for your next camino. Once is never enough!

Glad you recovered! You look great! Having a hard time hearing you, the music volume is good but your volume is very low (when you speak). It’s been that way for a couple days now. Love you.
