Thank you. Sorry about your leg. That's why I don't go to Scotland in the summer. You're very brave.

Christina you worry to much about wether you can camp here or there or sleep in the fisherman’s hut. Just do it, what’s the worst thing that can happen other than you might be asked to move on. Lots of people wild camp all over the uk , 9.9 times out of 10 you will be fine just pitch up late and leave early👍

I hate midges too😊. In Scotland they're known as wee beasties. 👍🙏

I was going to go up to Glen Coe this weekend and noticed the midgie forecast is 5 which is as bad as it gets! Luckily I have to go out for dinner so that's cancelled now. Maybe a lucky escape! 🤣

Hahaha!!! It's been a week and I'm still itchy sometimes ughhhh

My trick with midgie bites is to not scratch them under any circumstances. Easier said than done, but it makes a huge difference to the amount of irritation they cause.

How many miles have you completed now Christina? maybe have a late start tomorrow and wait for the two ladies to pass and then you would have company if you think the day is going to be hard.

I didnt want to spoil the ending for you. But since you asked, I finished it 3 days ago. Now im in England about to do another trail. Still working on editing the rest of Cape Wrath videos now. :)

@@hikersheep I am delighted you finished the Cape Wrath Trail and hope you thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to watching your future videos, if it is the Coast to Coast walk you are about to embark on it is a lovely walk and it will be a walk in the park compared to the Cape Wrath Trail and you will find a lot more walkers doing it compared to the Cape Wrath Trail, and congratulations again, you can now consider yourself a true thru hiker.

How much did the taxi cost to Ullapool, if you don't mind me asking? I also met Dan in the peak district as I'm doing Lejog, absolute machine! Made me feel totally inferior haha btw if the campsite is sloped I use my shoes under the tent to stop my mat sliding, works pretty well!
@hikersheep Жыл бұрын
£18. Thanks for the shoes under the tent hack. :) Never thought about that
