Day 10 of 31 Snare Drum Rudiments with ATL DRUM ACADEMY. The master Marcus Hawkins of ‪@marcushawkinsmusic‬ takes us on a trip down the snare drum lane. So grab your drumsticks and drum pads and come get some of this great Music Education.
The ATL DRUM ACADEMY is on a quest to provide 31 rudiments in 31 days. Today's lessons comes from an awesome drummer, composer, and cinematography. The rudiment of the day is called the book reports which is a hybrid rudiment that consist of paradiddles, flams, and diddles as well. The are heavily used by advanced snare drummers and drum lines during marching season, competitions and of course drum battles.
Be sure to watch and listen carefully as Marcus gives an extensive breakdown of each detail in this rudiment. Trust us, you're gonna have fun learning with him.

the thing i like about this lesson apart from other people on youtube that do lessons is that he smiles and makes you feel like your right in front of him practicing the rudiments in makes it fun and inclusive which makes you want to keep learning.
