Spasibo Sasha! Such a lovely message from you! Much appreciated! Springtime is the best time for roses here and then throughout the Summer. It's Autumn now, however a lot of the roses are in their final blooms for the year. The blooms are usually a bit smaller in size and not as many per bush, but the colour is good. Summer here is so intense it bleaches the colour from blooms that are a few days old! Autumn is much more gentle. Having said that, yes, a heap of wild weather has been going on in Oz and the East Coast is greatly affected. 🙏🌧🌈 We've had some storms, but it's mostly thunder and lightning, not much rain for us - which is ironic as we need more rain! Our nearby river is very high with the storm run-off from further upstream in the affected places. We are much hotter and drier as we're further inland. I chose this photo of pink roses to celebrate our 100th lesson! Roses for Nastya! This is a climbing variety. The rose bush itself is a tall one (approx 3m) although some years she is up to 4m! This is 'Maria Callas.' When she's not fully unfolded, you'd think it was 'Peter Frankenfeld." Unfolded, Maria's petals have a rounder edge and a slightly different pink. I'm amazed by how big Peter grows in our garden. He must like the conditions here, lol! Maria loves to grow tall. We have many, many types of roses in our extensive garden. We feel so Blessed! 🥰💐🌹🌿 We can't choose a favourite. Thank you for the encouraging words! Rick is so keen on learning Russian this year! Last year he just listened to it, learned a few words here and there, but was not actively studying it. This year, he's following lessons and other videos and flashcards! 😄I am surprised! 😃 It's a nice surprise.😊 My @dd1ction is catchy! 😂 Ooooooh! I love your lambsies! 😍🥰🤩🐑🐑🐑🐑 Adorable!
