Kim, thank you for sharing your favourite KZbinrs. I’m now ploughing my way through young Jude’s channel, and I’m crying lots of happy tears. What a sweet soul he is. Why am I crying? 😭🤣🥰💚😇

to right nothing is perfect. Our products are made by hand, small imperfections / differences in shape, size and colour can happen and are part of the charm of a handmade product.

Thank you for sharing your favorites! I like watching Maire Colclough (it used to be called Stringchronicity) & The 10 Acre Woods. The latest episode of TTAW shows Tara upcycling an old faux fur coat into a memory bunny. All proceeds of her creative endeavors go toward supporting their animal rescue farm in Manitoba. I hope by now you've gotten in a nap or two. Hugs, always.

Thank you for the heads up on the other channels. Rewilding Jude has been my latest addition, I've been watching since the channel started, and I just love it. I am living my home life / crofting dream through him! I do follow some of these other channels but there are four that are new to me so I shall check them out. :)

Aw I love Jude! He is fab, definitely part of my Sunday routine, just cosy & gorgeous. Here, have a top tip with stamping into clay, try to stamp through cling film, otherwise you may get clay stuck up in the crevices & it will drive you potty. I stamp my soaps & it's the same sort of thing xx
@CricketsBay

That is a fabulous tip. I've seen several clay, polymer clay, and air-dry clay artists who stamp over cling film and even cut shapes with a cookie cutter over cling film. The cling film pressure rounds the edges of the ornaments so it saves a lot of time. They don't have to smooth the front edges of the ornaments with water and their finger.

@@CricketsBay Yeah, that is a lovely part of it with clay. With stamping onto recently made/cut soap bars, that rounding isn't apparent. Best is, I dont have the stamp gouging out chunks, so no repair jobs & cleaning the bits out of my stamp. Cutting shapes out of soap clay/dough, (which has a similar consistency to polymer clay), does give those pleasant rounded edges though.

Id glue the letters onto a part.. fill gaps.. take a negative mould with silicone.. then use that mould to cast new ones.. but I'd be using plaster of Paris.. not sure what material you're using... Just my word blurghhh 😁

Watching with a cup of late night tea! Notice the knitting didn't happen, and no stock update... Thoughts for you: word of the year mending patches, I think you mentioned a few months ago you've done a mending patch before. Instead of clay, consider rigid plastic packaging. Will take a little bit, but you could just do a kit with the plastic or even pasteboard or paper packaging shaped and the holes for the stitches punched. Would work for bookmarks as well. I may do some of those. For that matter, embroidered bookmarks, or bracelets, maybe on reclaimed fabric. Embroidered clay ornaments for other holidays as well, or jewelry components. Folding handfans. Here's a big one inspired by your advent calendar: a monthly calendar with the embroidered clay days and numbers on ribbons. Think of a sewing thread rack as a calendar. Yes, this sort of possibility feed goes on in my head all the time.

Do you not have it in the US or a version of it? It's shortbread biscuit at the bottom, a caramel layer in the middle and topped with chocolate. It's lush! 😁

We don't have it in the U.S. unless our granny is Scottish or English. I've only ever seen it on KZbin. Cheryl from What's for Tea has an easy-to-follow recipe how to make Millionaires Shortbread.

It was just pure luck. I saw my DM upload a story on IG saying she was putting together a D&D group for folks who had never played before. I saw it just in time to sign up and we were only supposed to play for a few months, but 2 years in, we're still going.
