Hey Pickle, next time you unload bales at the Biogas plant, reverse the trailer until the rear of the trailer is right infront of that green bin, start unloading and the bales will automatically load themselves into the bin as long as they unload within a couple metres of it 👍 it will save you sooo much time

Another tip with the bailing, you can accept several of them at a time, especially the mowing in neighboring plots and do them at the same time. The game will automatically differentiate your progress on all of them.

This series has been awesome so far! I've been addicted to these vids. I'm glad you swapped over to silage, it makes so much more money than I thought it would with very little money input since that grass keeps regrowing all year. You inspired me to start broke to billionaire on my youtube channel a week or two ago as well - it's been a lot of fun trying to figure out these early stages and what to spend money on and where to save it. I'm excited to see the later stages after you earn a few million and how you'll choose to expand the farm. Thanks for the vids even while sick, keep it up!

I think the lease to own mod would really help this series. You could afford needed upgrades while still having the financial burden aspect. Plus it’s realistic as no farmer goes out and drops insane money on one piece of equipment new, you get the gear and pay it off as you make money on product.

Loving the series Pickle! It's going to take a minute to really get the big money flowing, but you're going in a very solid direction now. No bumpers needed for Farmer Pickle anymore, you're going to be bowling strikes with those silage bales in no time! That is such a relatable Farm Sim experience to end up having to pay $2,575 to rent a bale trailer when the original contract would have loaned you all the biggest and best equipment plus the best autoloader for $1,934. One time I accidentally made a bunch of 180cm round bales for a contract because I thought it would save time, then figured out that they were too big for the wrapper I had. That happened on the exact same Field 18 you were working on, so I have a bit of PTSD about that field. Was that bowling story about your Grandma Cucumber or your Grandma Vinegar? A game with Grandma is always a perfect game 😀

You could try mowing the ditches on contracts also for extra grass cut which would equal more silage for you to keep. Not sure if it’ll work or not but thought it might help!

There’s a fairly recent 3 point wind rower mod that will allow you to use an AI to bale, doesn’t disrupt the spirit of the game imo, but it doesn’t stop when baling so a fastbale would be the only way to have them wrapped in one step process, and that does fundamentally change the game as they ferment much faster. Do with this information what you please.

Alot of money can be made with contracts but you need time to go faster or refresh contracts pretty much so in your situation you can get like a couple 20k+ contracts a day i think and its very profitable to borrow items at the contract menu as its cheaper than renting and gives you exactly what you need (except for fertilizing cause of spreaders and maybe cultivating cause it reduces the payout more than others) but usually for most 20k+ contracts max reduction is like 2k and even if you have all machinery its still a very good payout cause they give you better machinery unless their small contracts

10:45 I tested this before starting my series. My test was running 1 year for each one set on auto selling and calculating the income. Tomatoes only made $8,301 Lettuce only made $8,207 Strawberry only made $8,320 All active made $8,311 Lettuce is the worst. Yes, it does have the highest sale price, but it produces the less.

There is a 50/50 good and bad about doing baling contacts is that you make extra but the grass does not regrow until you buy that field and if you want grass still in that field then you have to rip it up and re-plant it shout out to Daggerwin he told me that

At some point, to make the billion dollars in a reasonable time frame, you have to convert a few fields to "solar/wind farming". The fun challenge is that you actually have to make the money to buy all those generators!
