Day 16 - Strength and Balance
Hello everyone! Welcome to Day 16 of our 30 day yoga challenge. Today’s practice is all about building strength and balance. We’ll be focusing on poses that challenge your stability and engage your muscles in new ways. Our sequence includes Airplane, One Leg Mountain, Dancer, Warrior 3 and Half Moon, flowing between each to create a dynamic and invigorating practice.
What to Expect:
- Airplane Pose to strengthen your core and improve balance
- One-Leg Mountain to engage your leg muscles and enhance stability
- Dancer Pose to increase flexibility and build strength in the standing leg
- Warrior 3 to improve focus and balance while engaging the entire body
- Half Moon to open the hips and chest while challenging your balance
Tips for Today:
1. Focus Your Gaze: Find a steady point to focus on (drishti) to help maintain your balance in each pose.
2. Engage Your Core: Keep your core muscles engaged to support your balance and protect your lower back.
3. Use a Wall: If you’re struggling with balance, practice near a wall for support until you build more stability.
