wow, love these two cards as well..... I know it would be a killer for you, but I could watch you do these kinds of cards every day of the year, not just christmas cards, but the simple cards for those of us who are just getting going on cardmaking and learning so many techniques from this series. What is the tool you used for burnishing the paper down on the stamp?

Hi Peggy, it looks like it’s a Baren, which is a disk-like hand tool with a flat bottom and a handle used in Japanese woodblock printing. It is used to burnish (firmly rub) the back of a sheet of paper, lifting ink from the block. They can be bought from most art suppliers, I’ve even used something similar made for smoothing icing on a cake by cake decorators. Hope that helps!
