@@JoanneGrant_Art Hi, i was wondering if you could tell me the difference between gouache and regular watercolors. I was thinking of buying a gouache paint set to try and replicate this art page of yours. Is it a matter of opaque-ness? Thanks in advance!

@@karinwatson4985 Hi there. Gouache and watercolor are similar in that you can re-wet them in the palette. Where as acrylic, when it dries, it cannot be rewet. Gouache is opaque, matte finish and you can layer on top without the under color showing through. Watercolor is transparent and more luminous because it lets light through to the paper and when you layer it, the color underneath shows through which is an added benefit of watercolor. I hope that helped.
