I thought that bondo on the door was absolutely stupid and then I tried it and was blown away how much time I saved, obviously I’d rather replace the door but management determines what’s replaced not me so I do what I can with what I have much like you. Keep it up with the informative videos because I always like to learn a new trick.

I appreciate you bringing us along in your day to day on the job. I think your doing a great job on your content. I understand that this is apartment maintenance and not doing a total flip. You can’t spend all day fixing up every issue you run into while working on scheduled tasks. Being OCD myself, I’ve gone down the work rabbit hole many times in my own residence. I get it that it’s fine if we try and fix every little issue in our own place, but that isn’t how it goes in work. You have a specific work order to fix 1 issue. You can’t spend all day on that fixing everything else. Like you said, you document it and let your boss know. If they want you to fix the other issues, then it’s OK because your boss (who is paying your salary) approved the time spent. BTW, I ordered a Dewalt Cordless Screwdriver based upon your videos. Keep up the good work.

I come across doors like this a lot and a good method is to remove the door and take material off the hinge side of the door with a track saw. Have to paint the edge again but it’s very effective. Track saws are awesome.

The apartments I used to live in had a new maintenance man from out of the area and he didn’t realize that where we lived in the summer time would get up to 125 degrees. Our average in the summer is about 115. So he would be dying replacing ac units on the roof.

Any one else distracted by the ghost spider in the top right corner the first few minutes before shop talk? I think most people realize you're potentially shooting 8-10 hour workdays and condensing them down to about half an hour. Not gonna show everything. Although I would probably watch your inner Bob Ross coming alive on a door corner I see why you cut it out lol. Now if you got a fancy new paint sprayer or air brush to play with I'd definitely watch that.
