Are you ready for Day 17 of Missouri Star Quilt Company's advent box Jenny's Countdown to Christmas?
It’s that time again! Time for 2024’s Jenny’s Countdown to Christmas Advent Box from Missouri Star Quilt Company! Each day from Dec. 1 - Dec. 25, I will post a video unboxing/unwrapping of that day’s item! I will also update this blog with the items, the totals, any projects I make from this box, and more! I hope you enjoyed this series!
I purchase this box myself and pay full price for it. It is not sponsored in any way. I can't wait to see what quilting goodies are inside this year's box! I would love to know what you think!

I am loving this box, and understand the idea behind it, which is to have a wrapped gift each day for a happy surprise! Anyone can go online and just buy things, this is an experience gift as well as quilt lovers' items. The fact that it is so much more than the monetary value means if you do get things you wouldn't necessarily buy, so what? You get a smile each day, try new things you may not have experienced, and have a great time! I am and early riser, so I open with Jenny's videos (which themselves are a warm, sweet experience) then at 9:00 get excited again with your video!

These last 3 years I have received Jenny’s advent box & I love it. & of all the many channels that do the unboxing I only watch 2 channels. I enjoy watching yours because you make the projects & share with us, you give us a sneak peak of the next day’s gifts, & your estimates on the costs of each gift & the total. & your Christmas attire is cute too. Idea for Day 16 item. Shower caps for dolls! Personally I was like "meh" with a bowl cover (that's what saran wrap and/or foil is for!) but I always love getting new things to try out. That fabric looks fun. Too bad my sewing machine that has a zigzag stitch is under the weather (poor old thing!). Love your posts.

I don't think I'll make the bowl covers, but I might use it for a clean work surface, maybe roll out cookie dough on it for cutting out Christmas cookies. This is silly and absurd. In with all the other things, it just makes me laugh. If everything were like this, it wouldn't be good. This is my first year with the box, and I'm loving it. I know some people want more projects, but having too many would stress me out. As my husband said, that would be like giving me work for Christmas. I agree with some that a few more tools and notions would be nice, but I'm so glad I bought this!

Whether we like, dislike, agree, disagree - we are allowed to comment honestly (being respectful of course!)...it is not negative or argumentative... just our opinion... which is why we are allowed to comment, in the first place... if we are so afraid to be honest in our opinions as we may offend someone...then comments should be turned Off. It is interesting to get everyone's 'take' on things... Why ask our opinions, if we can't tell the truth?
