Day 17 Speed Decluttering my home before Christmas

I run an electric cupboard dehumidifier in my wardrobe it can fill up every three weeks and that’s a litre! in the winter. I had someone look once and they said it was the cold air hitting warm air that caused it. Our house was built in the 50s and quite typical to be damp in cupboards. We live in the North of Scotland so it’s colder here too

Oh wow that's a lot of moisture! We have mini dehumidifier's in the bedrooms this year and a bigger one in the utility but I think a small one in the wardrobe at the top could be good, maybe one that doesn't require electricity though 👍

Finding things, you've forgotten about, or finding things you've looked for forever is definitely something I do too!!! My jewelery from our wedding has disappeared twice! I have NO IDEA where those pieces could be. Completely frustrating! I love decluttering videos, so I'm very keen for you to continue in January please.

It's so frustrating when you can't remember where things are isn't it! I will definitely be continuing into January. I think it'll take a while for me to really get on top of the house!

Yes, absolutely keep your watch box as well as all the information that came with it. I think there's a registration form for it as well. I used to do my nails all the time. I've just gotten lazy. My friend did a 30-day decluttering challenge. She started on the first with one item and increased it every day and worked her way up to 30 items. Which is a lot!

Buy mini dehumidifier containers to put in your wardrobe as they will absorb any moisture and are great

I can't believe you just casually mentioned that "oh yeah, found my watch around Day 8". The watch that kicked off the whole series. 😄 I mean, you shared your son found it, but I'm dying to know: where was it?😄

Haha sorry what I meant was I explained how it was found in the day 8 video 😝 my 6-year old found it wedged at the side of his mattress, by the ladder to his bunk bed. My 2-year old loves to climb up there so we think she might have dropped it there! I'm so relieved!
