Olifants Rest Camp! I'm so glad you paid a visit to the camp. The spectacular viewing point overlooking the Olifants River has always been an attraction for me. Truly another glorious day of viewing. You have indeed been so fortunate this trip to the KNP to see so much. I look forward to Day 19. To all fellow DustBugs Travel subscribers and viewers who celebrate Christmas, I wish you a blessed and peaceful day.

Yes, I agree completely. The view from Olifants is most likely unparalleled in the Park, with or without much water. The vast distance one is able to observe from the viewing area, is just phenomenal and I'm sure many folks while away many happy hours right there! 🤩 I'm glad you enjoyed this one too. Thank you for the wishes. 🎄

A lovely day that Lioness was awesome she looked so proud standing on that rock. Of course the Hippos ruled the wether in or out of the water and all the other sightings a very good day. Thank you. 😊❤

She did indeed stand tall and proud on that rock, it was simply fantastic to see her! 😍🦁 Our brilliant hippo sightings continued and we weren't complaining one bit! 😁🦛

The Lioness sighting was for your eyes only. My hubby and I had a wonderful sighting of Elephants in the Pilanesburg that only we witnessed. They played in the water for half and hour and went on their way after which people start arriving to the spot, but missed out. We were so lucky and we would still watch the video from time to time. So special!

Your elephant sighting sounds incredible and you were fortunate to spend so much time alone with them. 😍🐘 While we love to share and exchange info about wildlife sightings with fellow nature lovers, I agree with you that sightings on one's own are on another level of special. 🤩 It's nice to sometimes have those sightings to make up for those ones narrowly missed or shared with an entire traffic jam! 😊🚙

Loved your drive sorry about your flask my heart went out to you both when you saw the little bench. Hippos were plentiful loved the baby elephant and monkeys. Can't wait for the next trip.

The little memorial bench really tugged at our heartstrings and it was quite touching to see it next to the small elephant. 🐘😥 We were fortunate with our sightings and continued to be over the moon at every single little, or big, thing we saw! 🤩🚙

That lioness on the rock is the shot that makes award winning oil paintings, wow... (lief julle tweetjies)

That lioness was absolutely spectacular and we thought we were quite lucky. We've seen lions on rocks before, but never one which stood out so prominently on one like that, etched beautifully against the sky. 😍🦁 I'm glad you enjoy our videos! 😊🚙

Happy to hear, as always! 🤩🚙 We enjoyed the days full of activity just as much as the quieter ones. But, if we had a choice, we would prefer one full of activity every day of the week! I look forward to seeing you again on Day 19!

That lioness was indeed a stunning specimen😍🦁 She was quite far away from us that day, but when watching back our footage, we also realised how strong her chest looked. She altogether looks like quite a powerful and formidable lioness. 👑

Thank you for the wishes! 🎄 Yes, it was most certainly the morning of mishaps and at times I wished I could go and sit with the little monkey up in the tree and the messes would magically disappear. But all was good in the end, luckily! 😅🐒

Hippos features in this video tiny Hippo the amazing amount asleep on the bank and the ones at Sonias Bridge but Hippos in flowers walking around with a garland of flowers round the neck made me think of the song ( Hole in my shoe by Traffic) too much sittings to list the lion stood out brilliant pose !.the little bench touched me so glad I have my to granddaughters been with them this morning. Loved the mishaps stories always real lol .Curtis and Sonia I wish you merry Christmas 🤶 🎄 🎉 and all the dustbugs.

@charlietreston4035 That little bench was such a touching tribute to a beloved little boy. 🤗 As you heard, Sonia loved the hippos just as much and we saw a lot of them out of the water on this day. The one with the garland was very cool! 🦛😍 We were so chuffed with the beautiful lioness sighting on our way back from Olifants. 🦁🤩 How special that you got to spend Christmas Day with your precious granddaughters. Thank you for the wishes. 😊

My feeling with the lioness is that she has cubs hidden away from the pride untill it is time to bring them out to the pride, she looks like she might have given birth recently.

I agree. It was just too far on the day, but when I saw the zoomed footage while I was editing, I got the same idea. 😍🦁

Oh you have made me so lus for Milo I will have to go get some. The hyena babies are so cute! Hoog in die takke..😂😂😂..I have been hoog in die takke, but not in a tree😂 I totally agree with you Sonia! Do not compare humans to animals. They are a lot more civilized than most humans. Instead humans should learn from animals. This has been my opinion ever since I first started school. How sad about the rondawels that got burnt out. I think my third favorite animal is a cheetah. I love them and have had the honor of touching one. What a morning you had! Awful when things break
@DustBugsTravel6 күн бұрын
The funny thing for us with Milo is that we don't drink it at any other time, but only in the Park. It's a tradition of sorts. I hope you enjoy it just as much when you have it again! 😁☕I thought it was super cool that the hyena mom seemed to want the pups to follow her, which they eventually did. They're fascinating animals! Those three burnt rondavels were all but completely destroyed. I shudder to think the potential damage and loss that could've been caused if the fire wasn't contained in time. 😨🔥 You've picked a fantastic animal to round out your Top Three! 🐆😍 I don't even bother making a list, but the precious rhino will always be my number 1. 🤩🦏
@annawitter51616 күн бұрын
@DustBugsTravel I think rhino might be my number 4. Or fish eagle, I love them too

How many km do you travel a day. loving the videos
@DustBugsTravel6 күн бұрын
I've never actually measured, but I'd estimate a minimum of 200km per day while we're in the Park. 😁🚙
