Jess, just a few days before I met you at Stecoah Gap (3/9/24) KZbin served up a suggestion that I watch one of your videos. I’d never seen a through hiker video before that morning. It looked like you had quite a head of steam as you headed up the steep and rocky terrain. When you started your journey, I planned to take it with you by following your videos. Life got in the way, though, and I was only able to pick you back up four or five weeks ago. But the four or five weeks I watched, I enjoyed immensely. Jess you made it and you did it your way from Springer Mt. Georgia you Thru Hike the entire Appalachian Trail to its completion at Mt. Katahdin, Maine. Wow 😂 congratulations. This video like all your others is a master piece of music, sounds and photography and editing. Your smile and emotional voice show your joy. Happiness is happenstance and joy is internal and eternal. I have this post twice now and it brings joyful tears to my eyes and heart. Thank you for sharing your journey. Oh his I will miss you and your postings. I so glad you got your summit with Pumba, Gadget & Soap for you hiked some much of the AT as a true Tramily. You will want to keep in touch with them for the rest of your life. I pray this is not your last post of your AT adventure. Hopefully you will do a post trail vlog on your equipment after trail review to help us in our equipment selection for our trail adventure and fill us in on how you are adjusting your post trail life . Thanks for sharing your arduous hike. Bravo to your triumph of high achievement. I hiked to the peak of Katahdin using the Hunt Trail and Abol on the descent. It was physically and mentally challenging. I was bruised, cut, and exhausted. Yet, it was worth it. Kudos for thanking everyone who helped.
