Day 19- Dry Hatching Duck eggs

Hi, As they grow and start to generate heat at what point will you lower the temp of the incubator? Have you ever experienced a spike in temperature? At what day will the combination of heat from growing chicks, fan and egg turner motor start to play a role in the heat spike if any and do you turn off the fan at any point? Thx!!

I've never lowered incubation temp as I've never gotten a spike as the incubator only turns on if its lower than 99, and stops at 100 temp. I've also never turned off the fan because the need the air circulation to bring more oxygen into the incubator as they hatch

@@WosmekFarmHatcheryThat makes sense about the fan. You must not have the little giant incubator...I'm using the LG with air and turner. I've read about temp spikes towards the end of incubation and cooked the whole batch. I'm approaching lockdown and worry about this happening. Someone said it was the mention combination so glad I asked cause I was gonna unplug the fan as well. Thanks again!!! Will hope for the best when the time comes...🙏 Take care!!!
