I have a wild birb egg not the same but i know they hatch just the same jsut at different times my egg is all dark no veins really to be seen the baby is ok alive and moving its in hatching positon just het to internally pip

Between 24 hours and 3 days. It all depends on how much yolk they have absorbed

I rescued some mallard eggs whos mama got shredded by a predator. Have been watching your videos trying to determine how far along mine are. Started with 7 two weeks and 1 day ago. Down to three. Lost two just over the last few days. Both were almost fully developed. They both only had one foot which has me worried.

My goodness! I'm glad you saved the eggs. When you estimate the day they are on, give them 5 extra days from the last movement you see. And as for lost feet, I have seen chickens born with one foot do wonderfully as they hop on that one foot, though I wouldn't breed them, just use them for pets/company😄. Also its it very common to loose eggs after rescuing eggs from a momma because of different environmental factors inside the incubator. I wish you all the luck!

@@WosmekFarmHatchery Sadly there was only one egg we could save...I have two ducks and the female sat on her clutch for almost the entire time then just abandoned them. We managed to save the one and its almost ready for the world :)

I tried saving a wild ducks clutch when she left but i think she sensed they weren’t ok. I wonder if one day off the nest affected the success rate. Humidity change
