@44:34 isn't referring to women in general, but to remember the evil (royal ) women who previously ruled by manipulation of husbands, sons, grandsons, or through violence. Chapter 3 could be a summary to the evil kings we read. So Isaiah reminds Israel, and us, that the root of this pattern is sin nature and continued disobedience to God. We are so blessed to have the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT to help us ! thank you Father. Thank you Jesus.

In response to the question about today's fashion. I'm 28 years old for reference. I believe in dressing modestly. Now dressing modest to me might mean shorts and dress's below the knees and tops that are not low cut. But to others it may mean something like women only wearing skirts or dresses, no makeup etc. I believe in personal convictions and also how we are raised plays a part in how we dress (cultural differences). Unfortunately, I think society as a whole has forgotten what the word 'modesty' means. Like you said, it's not to judge. I agree we all have our own personal convictions. For me personally, I think to myself, does me wearing this give glory to God, or does it give glory to something else.... Am I making my heavenly father proud? This is not something I have always done. As we grow in our walk with Christ, those convictions come. Very generally speaking, I do think as we dress ourselves each day we should be covered. And I mean covered to where a stranger is not looking at me and can see everything I have if I move a certain way, if you know what I mean... We are called to be set a part from the world. Therefore, we are going to not only sound different, live different and act different. We are also going to dress different!

I agree about seeing way more skin than fabric on so many. Sadly even many of the church goers are wearing clothing that's too revealing. (Such as too low cut or dresses/ skirts way too short) Or letting their teens do it. They need to remember this is just adding stumbling blocks for men especially. Our former pastor preached on this in the past.

Old fashion here or just getting old!!!! The clothing today is sad. I once had a Pastor and his wife, who wore low-cut tops say it was not sinful. It was the parents' job to raise young men to not look at women as an object. She even went to the point of getting a tattoo on her cleavage as a "protest" of people looking at her chest. Now their teenage daughters are doing the same. Lord help us as Women and mothers to clothe ourselves in a way that is pleasing to you.
