I wonder how many people realize the positive impact that Loz & Liz have had in popularizing strongman and arm wrestling in the last five years? This channel is my first resource for news, insight, and sheer fun. Thank you both for all your hard work! 💯🌟💯

Fully agree. Certain subjects they can’t discuss (which would otherwise impact their sponsorships and Loz’ future commentating opportunities) which another channel is slightly better for but hands down the best channel for: - quick update, - behind the scenes, - training tips, and - humour just brilliant and unbeatable. Keep it up guys you’re doing an amazing job!!! 👍👌

The stone to shoulder was the most exciting part of the show, amazing to watch Oleksii and Martins. Loz, your commentary is the best in the sport, makes the whole show more interesting.

Spot on! It also highlighted how the Giants Live shows (and for that matter World Strongest Man (WSM)) does not really establish the strongest man on this planet as a couple of events are so predictable (Atlas Stones & Deadlift) which means certain athletes for efficiency reasons just become very, very good at these given events. For example, take Tom Stoltman, officially the world strongest man (who I truly like as an athlete and what he does for autism) the self-declared “King of Stones” who was fully fit coming into this contest: he couldn’t even get a conventional stone to his lap and got his ass kicked throughout the entire comp!?! When in real life do we encounter a perfectly spherical stone (like the atlas stones)?…….WSM became too predictable in events with too few events (for TV reasons ($$)) and for that matter lets the strongman community down to establish the true world’s strongest man in my humble opinion.
@ParzifalPip

@@tonywalther67 There are alot more events and strongmen in Worlds. Tom's head was not in the game. If your really believe that about 5 events that favored Martins (His mates stone!) You need to watch a lot more strongman.

Agreed. Plus, his British accent is such that most English speaking foreigners easily understand him. Many Brit accents and dialects can be hard to decipher by Americans and Canadians. I've commented before that Loz's voice would naturally make him an excellent narrator for any TV show or a recorded book reading. Even children's books.

Loz, you and Sean Woodland are truly the best strongman commentator team. Sean really gives me that traditional high level sports feeling with his classic american commentator voice and his rapid flow. Your way of explaining things and your flow was just as good and I really felt your enthusiasm, how you were cheering for the guys. Commentating technique, highlighting the good and the bad, adding so much value with your knowledge from experience and insider information from knowing the guys. If you ask me, you and Sean are truly the best strongman commentator team. What a fantastic show. Congratulations Martins, Novikov, Luke and Bobby. All the best to JF, I truly hope this wasn't career ending. Not to be forgotten, Rob Kearney, what a show he put on. The guys on the podium deserved to be there, but I really felt for Kearney, his squat was tremendous and the dumbbell, are you kidding me? Where did that come from, amazing performance.

Got back from the gym to find this upload, Liz as usual fantastic footage you really capture the heart and soul of the events and athletes. Loz great commentary especially as a former strongman you have a real insight into what it takes and what the athletes need to do to win. Andrea just smashed it, you could see that she really appreciated your support. Novikov was just an inspiration showing that Ukraine are strong and will never give up. Great result for Luke, Tome not his events, but will come back stronger.

Nice job Loz & Liz with giving the womens side of the sport some well deserved visibility! Probably the general public will always favour the mens side because of the bigger numbers but this doesn't mean that these women aren't putting in 110% of the effort and can't inspire and popularize the sport even more. Oleksii really gave it everything. Hope JF is as OK as possible. Bobby did a great job as substitute. I’d thought Trey would have done better than he did. As for Martins he is fabulous. Thank you again Loz and Liz for your great coverage of the show. My compliments to Loz for, as always, doing a superlative job on commentating. HUGE Congratulations to Andrea and Chloe for their near miraculous achievements and victories! And lastly BIG congrats to Martins, Oleksii, and Luke Stoltman for their podiums at Arnolds 2022. My apologies to Bobby Thompson, because he had nothing to do with the competition's scoring system, but I believe it was totally UNFAIR when JF, Tom, Bobby, and Trey were all awarded 2.5 points each when the 4 of them got "no-lifts" on the dumbbell event. It is only because of this extra, unearned 2.5 points that Bobby was tied for third with Luke. This also placed Bobby UNFAIRLY ahead of Rob Kearney in the final standings. My personal convictions are that Luke should be the lone 3rd place winner, Rob Kearney should be the lone 4th place finisher, and Bobby should be in fifth place. Congrats to Rob too for such a strong comeback from his health problems! If you agree with me regarding the unfairness of rewarding no lifts or zero reps, then perhaps voice your critiques to Rogue Fitness. Thanks
