I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for a very long time. Even for my sons in laws! Tom helped me get the turkey dressing made and stuffed, we always had a bunch extra!!! We got really good at it, had it all timed out! Made pies too, the whole shebang, like you!!! But now my daughter in law makes the dinner but I still make two pies and cranberry salad and a cheese ball, Tom always helps!! But now he makes a lot of it and I supervise because I can't get near my gas stove with my oxygen! So when I do go near the stove I take my oxygen off so that doesn't last too long!!! We manage and take turns!!! Love the pictures of you and baby possum!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! Hugs and❤

Love these pages with the old photos, so great that you are getting them out and gluing them down with some journaling. I have so many photos in bins that I need to do that with. This year my oldest daughter is cooking the turkey etc at her house and so all I need to fix are a few sides. (Our meal is tomorrow). It’s SO nice not having to spend the day in the kitchen and all the cleaning up too.. My son is coming from far away today so I’ll be able to visit instead. 😊

I always have to remember my youngest son’s age to figure out dates of things. Like he was eight when we moved to Des Moines, Iowa. Hen he was a Junior in high school when we moved to Pleasant Hill, Iowa.🤗💖🦋

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I cook everything, every year - unless someone shows up with a dish or two. This year my daughter brought 2 dishes. I fix my turkey in a roaster. It’s so nice because it frees up the oven for other things. I used to fix it in the oven though. I like the way you cosmic smash up your journals. It’s a surprise with every turn of the page!😂❤

How about a "Delightful December?" I was trying to think of a word that started with a D to go with December. Stinky Winky Woo is so pretty and sure enjoyed that cuddle! Mine was wild when he was a babe so he doesn't love the cuddling as much as I'd like him too. He will come up sometimes and lay on my chest and I can hold him and he'll purr, but too much cuddling and off he goes. I hope TiTi is doing okay. I am glad you are not having to do all the cooking anymore. It is a big chore. I enjoy the visiting more than eating. They are having one on Saturday for my family. As for today I don't know if I'll go anywhere or just stay home. No one has invited me yet. My neighbor offered to bring me food, but I told him not to, since I might be gone. Last year, after I broke my foot, he brought me such lovely food a lot! On Thanksgiving there was Covid in the family, so I was going nowhere, and he brought me a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with another plate of just deserts! I can cook but don't do much of it these days. Yes I have cooked turkeys and all the other things, but it's been several years now, since my husband passed. I usually go to my nephew's house, and that is where I'll go Saturday. I think today (it's after midnight) they go to her Mother's house for that family Thanksgiving. I have a man coming on Friday to see about a tree that needs some limbs cut off. The only tree in my yard! My home insurance company sent me a letter saying I need to remove any limbs that touch the house. I said I could get on my ladder and do it. The guy came out from the back and said he didn't want me up a tree with a ladder and saw, and he would come and do it. I thought that was so sweet. (When you get 70 years old I reckon they think you are too old to do jobs like that!) I have to have my insurance and the oak tree is huge, and having it taken down would probably cost at least $1000 or more. I talked to the insurance guy today again and he said that all he needed was those small bottom limbs removed. I told him if the guy would do it and not charge an arm and leg I'd go ahead and let him do it. It is a red oak tree. Love those old photos of you and baby Possum. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
