Oooow I think you can stop buying things for a looooooong time 😂 I'm a minimalist in decorating things, just decluttered my whole appartment, but have things for journaling, a few bought, a big pile is gifted to me. I shared the gift with a home for elderly people and now I can still journal a few years. Only buying when needed, use a lot of old paper magazines. The junk mr. Love how the Totally Turkey page turned out! The journal card colors were possum perfect. So fortunate that Stanley was rescued from the curious turkeys 🦃just in time. I remember hearing your fun story of bringing a turkey to school. I know your class was quite the talk of the school!

This was a fun story...poor Flat Stanley...maybe he'll behave himself in the future! lol. I live in an eastern suburb of Cleveland OH, one day while doing my dishes I saw a turkey walk past my window..then another and another and another....they eventually made their way to the woods that abuts our property. I was thrilled to be treated to a 'turkey parade' that day 😆🦃🦃🦃🦃 Haven't seen them too often..every once in awhile. Thanks for sharing your stories...they really make me smile.

my 2025 goal is just to save money in general. im doing a no spend on most things. i havent been feeling very crafty lately, so thankfully i havent had the urge to buy any craft supplies. my main issues will be with buying a drink/snack every time i go to the store. im also going to be keeping track on a calendar and for my "no spend" days, i am going to save a set amount of money for each day so its like an incentive to not buy anything. im even going to be doing yet another destash of my craft room. its been almost a year since my last one, and anything i havent touched or thought about in that time is probably going to good will. and OH NO! poor stanley lol

I love thrifting to find supplies. Make a glue book of it. I’ve refrained from visiting thrift stores all year. I only go to the craft stores for glue. And color books. I love your journaling theme of using your stash rather than buying. My problem now is the free Printables 😵‍💫❤️💯

When you asked how long we thought you could do a no spend challenge, my immediate thought was, "until the flea market opens up again." lol My MIL was a kindergarten teacher and she hatched eggs in her room just about every year. Sometimes it was just chickens, but other times it'd be chickens, pheasants, quail, turkeys, ducks, etc. Her room was always very popular on hatching days. :)
