I had a stroke 2 years ago that left me unable to use the entire right side of my body. Thankfully I did not lose speech, but, being right handed, everything became so much harder. Its been 2 years and Im now fishing and flyfishing again. No one can tell there was ever anything wrong with me. I can tie fine knots and my casting timing is coming back gradually. I honestly think that continuing to try to fish helped tremendously. The act of tying those knots, and of manipulating the reels and rods and lures helped build back the pathways between my dead brain space and my fine motor skills. Tell your friend its possible please, im a miracle and living proof.

Love Beachy’s enthusiasm. Thinking of Rob and Trick Daddy. My mother suffered a stroke at age 57 and passed at 59 of either another stroke or heart attack. Strokes are sneaky and devastating. Getting to medical help quickly is the key. Geese and with my family history it freaks me out.

That is absolutely an amazing video and what really is amazing is how you were able to help trick Daddy out and my dad had a stroke about a year ago and he's lost all feeling on his right side and he is too stubborn and isn't able to go to physical therapy but that is so impressive that you are such a good friend be able to do that and that is wonderful I wish somebody would do that for my dad and it really brought me to tears to see you do this for your friend God bless you both and your brother as well you are all in our prayers and I thank you so much for everything you do

Just a heads up folks, any foreign vessel in The Bahamas, the limit for conchs is 6 per boat, doesn’t matter if ya have a Bahamian on board it stays the same. And for all the Lobster guys coming over in August, it’s 10 per boat, doesn’t matter how many people you have on board, it’s still the same. As a Bahamian myself working in the marine industry, I often see people ignoring/breaking the laws of The Bahamas, have respect for the rules and the resources so they’ll actually last for the generations of people to come.
