Fun decorating idea: Get a three tier snowman, turn it around till it faces the back, drop a carrot or some sticks in front of it and your done! You’ll have a in progress snowman ☃️

i absolutely *love* decorating in the snow! i love the decorated cedar trees, i love the sound of the snow when your character runs over it, and i especially love the way everything glows at night! my first island was a nighttime winter fairycore island and im gonna redo it some day because i still love it. im working on another nighttime winter fairycore island at the moment, but i am doing all black and white, so i am loving these videos so much to get my fix of fun christmas stuff! okay this turned into a novel lol hope you have a great day!

Minestrone and Italian wedding soup are my two favorite soups to eat this time of year. 😊 So happy to see this as a build! My island is a different theme, and I don’t have the space left to make a skating rink even though I want to for the season. 😭 I want to finish my current island before a restart, so for now I’ll have to live vicariously through the builds of others 😂 ❤️

FYI, moving water will never freeze unless it drops to -95f in a few seconds, that's why you leave a faucet on during the winter if your home is old so your pipes don't freeze. Moving water doesn't freeze, it's a law of fluid dynamics.

My favroite soup is chicken soup you should try it

Because different stuff is made of different chemicals they can behave differently. Water doesn’t change temperature as easily as most other things, so it takes longer to cool down or warm up than the air or the ground. And water is a liquid so even in a still body of water like a pond it does move around a bit. They molecules are not organised into one place like they would be in solid ice. So even if the water at the surface of a body of water cools down from contact with cold air, it mixes with the slightly warmer water below. This means all the water has to cool down before the surface can begin to freeze! The more water there is, the longer this takes. So it’s much easier for the cold air to freeze tiny raindrops into snowflakes than it is for it to freeze any body of water. But a pond would freeze before a lake for example, because it’s smaller. Rivers are more complicated. From what I’ve explained already you can imagine a small river would freeze before a big river, but movement also prevents water from freezing! So slow parts of rivers will freeze faster than fast parts of rivers like waterfalls. And rivers often take longer to freeze than still bodies of water. When water is being moved around a lot in a river this means that any water that comes to the top in contact with the cold air is quickly sent back below the surface. So the air doesn’t have as long to cool that part of the water down before it goes below (if you remember from the beginning water takes a long time to cool down). The other reason moving water takes longer to freeze is because it has to stop to freeze, and any water that does freeze can get broken up again by the moving water around it. This is why you get slurries at first if a river does start to freeze. The water in a river also isn’t stuck in one place like a pond or lake, it’s always moving along to another place. So any given part of water flowing down the river might not stay in a cold area long enough to freeze, it might flow to an area with warmer weather before that can happen
