Hey Curtis and Sonia, thank you so much for inviting us on your wonderful trip. So grateful to you for your hard work in putting together this series Honestly I have loved every second of it!! We don’t mind admitting we’re addicted- but we have to save really hard to come out every 2-3 years- it just makes each visit even more precious

Always know that you have a standing invitation to join us on every Kruger trip, and every other one we go on too. The cost is high, but we'll happily pay the price in exchange for the invaluable memories and enjoyment we gain along the way. Good luck with the savings and we wish you the most fantastic time when it's your turn again to visit this special, special place. 😍🚙

The two side-striped jackals were a truly special sighting for us! 😍🐺 I heard reports just today of heavy rains in areas of Limpopo, so that's fantastic news and I can only imagine how much water is around now. That will be quite a sight, I'm sure! Thank you for the good wishes for 2025, we wish the same for you and your loved ones and we can't wait to share our journeys in this new year with you. What an amazing trip you had. You enjoyed so many wonderful sightings. If I ever get to go back to the Park again and drive over the Letaba bridge, I will always refer to it as Sonia's Bridge. My parents always used to say the park was their heaven and that they always felt extremely close (not that they weren't) there. I think thats the way you two feel, hey. Going out of the park was very emotional for me. I feel you Sonia. ♥️ Thank you for the many blessings ♥️♥️ Thank you Curtis and Sonia ♥️

Sonia says you have her full permission to cross her bridge and enjoy all the magnificence from there in all its glory! 🥰 You hit the nail on the head, the two of us do feel even closer there and we feel it's because we're so incredibly close to nature and absolutely savour every single second, knowing that it'll be over before we know it. You speak with such love about your folks and I can tell that they are a big part of the reason why you love this place so very much. ❤️🚙 We appreciate you joining us in the majestic Kruger National Park.

7:46 -> Jacobin cuckoo! You always make me look these up 😁 I didn't realise that vultures were an endangered species - how sad 47:51 -> Google says 'Golden eagle' ... Is that so? Finally finished having taken it slow to relish your very last episode of this journey to the Kruger. My favourite of your sightings, well, always besides the honey badger, were the young lion cubs at play...just like house cats. Adorable. Thanks again, guys, for allowing us to share with you such an enjoyable journey. All the best
@DustBugsTravel
@DustBugsTravel 18 күн бұрын
According to Google, golden eagles occur in the northern parts of the northern hemisphere, so we dont'get them locally. I'm not sure exactly what kind of eagle that was. I read online that our martial eagle is the most similar in size to the golden eagle. 🦅 'Relish' is a good word for what we did with every moment in our magical Kruger National Park.food😍 Thank you for taking the time out to join us, we'll see you on the road again real soon. 😁🚙

Hi guys really great you got to spend another night and in your favourite number 32 .this whole trip has been amazing from start to finish. The amount of wildlife is mind blowing. Sonias stories chatting with the ladies have been great so funny. The views from the look out awesome across the Kruger. The young giraffe dainty eating the leaves between the thorns love it .spotting the Rhinos and the stripe side jackals the cherry on top. The hippos from Sonias bridge are the best 👌 👍. The view from the sink got to be best in the world. Hyena pups and the elephants in the mist only in South Africa. Well done Curtis for driving that distance 👏 👍 you guys are blessed to live in such a wonderful place. Thanks again for taking me along cheerio till the next one

You mentioned a few of our highlights in your comment, including my beloved rhinos and Sonia's hippos. 😍🦏🦛 The side-striped jackal was most certainly a highlight of our final day and we got to see not only them, but also three rhinos and multiple hippos, so all-in-all a truly fantastic time was had by the two of us. I'm fortunate that I love long-distance driving, so I enjoyed every kilometre of that too. We're blessed to have you as one of our loyal viewers and we so look forward to having you back on our backseat again very soon. 😍🚙

Grootvlei is a favourite spot of ours to have coffee and rusks, Oumas of course lol. In April 2023 we sat there and watched as a herd of Buffalo came down to drink on the opposite bank. The buffalo soon made a swift exit as they became aware of the 4 young male lions lying closer to the water. Our hearts were pounding as we waited to see what would happen next......no action that morning for us to see but another unforgetable memory in the Kruger. We're coming back again from the UK in 18 weeks time and will be staying for 34 nights ! We can't wait......we love your videos and have binge watched both of your series on Kruger. Stay well Sonia and Curtis and thank you for taking us with you and sharing your joy of Kruger.

We were super chuffed with all our sightings, but it was extra special to see those side-striped jackals for the first time. It's wild that it happened on our very last day in the Park. We caught another quick glimpse of one very close to the Phalaborwa Gate as we were preparing to exit the Park, but I was just not quick enough to capture it on film. 😍🐺 We've heard reports from many of our viewers that Nsemani Dam is looking great and has quite a bit of water, which is the best news! 🌊🦛 Thank you to you and your wife for taking time out to follow along, it was great fun!

Thank you so much Curtis and Sonia for sharing the wonderful Kruger National Park. What a place!!! 🦁🐗🦅I felt the emotions of those last few kms and the exiting of the gate. It is a sadness, however those feelings are mixed with so many fond memories. If only we could bottle the excitement of gate opening time and sell it, that would pay for many Kruger trips. 😃😃😃 I hope our paths cross once again in the Kruger. Safe Travels and take care.

Yayyy! Not the end yet. Guinea fowl always remind me of a bunch of kerktannies, with a blue rinse, or a blue hat. Love the "kudu -lites". Wow! Another dung beetle, awesome! I took a screenshot of the Shingwedzi hide for a painting. Might put in a few elephant. Such luck to sight the rhinos. They are getting so scarce.😢 Lovely old bull ellie. We all get lumpy and bumpy when we get old 😂 marauding squirrel, so funny 🤣. Ai, Sonia, i know how you feel, i am the same. Could never sleep the night before leaving the Free Sate or Karoo.

Thanks (again) for the videos - I'll be in the south of the Kruger in less than a month's time and am so looking forward to it.

Yes, we also heard that they're rather uncommon, while the red variety abouds, so it sounds like we were quite lucky with the yellow ones. 😍 Have a fantastic time in Kruger and thank you for sharing in ours! 🤩🚙

No need for the unhappy face, methinks you need to check again! 😁🚙 We visited, and overnighted in, Greyton back in May 2022 already when our channel was still very young, our videos were much shorter and we didn't explore as in-depth as we begun doing in later episodes. We hope you enjoy all the same. Check out Episodes 117 and 118.
