🙏 All of what we learned today and many other days, is so good for learning the justice of our Heavenly Father. I cannot help but think of what is to come to all of us in the world through the turning away from our Lord and transgressions against many of God’s children and selfishness of people. We will not escape God’s justice, but we do have the opportunity to turn back to God. Praying for everyone 🙏

Dude, you are truly blessed. God has truly found favor in you. I have tried many times to read the Bible, but I always get lost/ wayed down, because I just can't understand what they're saying, or what they're meaning. But to be able to get you, to explain things after the reading is, like night and day. I've talked to other people, they were doing Bible in a year, by somebody else, or whoever. And I have them listen to you, one time. And they're like, wow! You make sense of it all. That's a really big deal, I hope you understand how big it is. Because it truly is special when you put everything into context. I'm so thankful for you, you have no idea man. I worked reset for the church, in my younger years. For about seven maybe 10 years. Cannot remember, I worked for, I think three different parishes at different times. In the maintenance department. Got to know a lot of priests, awful lot of seminarians. So I have a little bit of a background in the church. Anyways Father Mike, You have a gift, I pray you will keep your bearings, over the long haul, can get easier to loose overtime. I do pray for you my friend, and look for more special things out of you in the future. Thanks Mike, You make me see/understand The Bible writing's, like I was never able to do before. Fr. Mike, the timing of these episodes is exactly what I need. For more than a year I have forgotten what happiness is. My beloved mother passed away July 2023 and I never received the support I needed from my immediate family to heal from losing her. A week ago my oldest son confronted me and said he felt that I chose going to Mass over spending time with his family (he was raised Catholic and is non-practicing, my grandchildren aren't going to be baptized). He then went on to say how could I support the teachings of the Church. There was so much anger. This verbal affront came out of nowhere and I am deeply hurt and heartbroken. "I ask the Lord to give us all hope, especially if we've forgotten what happiness is. Help us to love you and to know that you are on our side and your mercies are new every morning." I really need prayers. 😢🙏

On Sept 23 I go for an outpatient procedure to check my throat to see if I have the right kind of specter/airway for me to qualify for the Inspire implant to eliminate the need for my new Bi-pap which has been causing me terrible problems since I got it 3mo. ago. Why would a Christian lose happiness? Happiness is a state of mind is why but the joy of the Lord is a gift that surpasses all human reason; our reason for our greatest hope. It is by this joy we find contentment in any circumstance which is the strength of the Lord to do all things; to endure all life suffering struggles which we can join with our Lord's suffering for the benefit of His Body the Church. I pray we all hold fast to this great gift.

A great reminder that God is good *_ As Jeremiah's chapter ends, we see his sorrow and can relate to the words “it's been a long time since I was truly happy.” If we are always stressed and worried, we often forget the real joy. We must focus on what good we have and had in life. Also, God's promises, especially, through Jesus. *_ God's promises to His people about the return to their land and happiness after the destruction and sorrow reminds us that no trouble or tragedy is final. Does the suffering in life purify a soul? Because if God was angry at them He could just kill them but He sends mind-blowing torture on them. If that has no value why is He so violent and cruel or does it purify them for their salvation?

I think, for most cases, that God doesn't send anything. God just removes his protection and allows this broken world, which is violent, to take its course.

B U T at 27:18 you, Fr Mike, say 'God is my glory and my expectation from the Lord' from the Ascension Bible? Nonetheless you are an outstanding reader pleasure to listen to your reading so few mistakes. Unbelievable.
