When we talk about true religion, empirical science can ever only confirm or say, "I don't know." The leaders of the Muslimeen were able to get along in as far as their thinking and acting was automatically towards living Al Quran and the inspired teachings.

Oh so when muawiya fought wars & 40 thousands Muslims died in just one battle let alone the others, sahaba got along? Or when they killed the master of the youth of paradise Muslim leaders got along. Or when Kaaba was attacked, massacre & rape in medina etc This myth sahaba got along is unbelievable. There no dispute on these events. Putting Islam 1st when wronged isn’t getting along in any imagination. Let alone wars fought with sahaba on opposite sides. Yeah best buddies

Who killed Ammar ibn Yasir? What did the prophet (sawa) foretell of his murderer? Who killed Hujr ibn Adi? Who killed Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr? Who exiled Abu Dhur & created conditions for his death? Who killed killed Zubayr? The list goes on. Anyone who read history can use some common sense to see how sahaba got along. Killing isn’t getting along.

The issue I always found with those that can’t get their head around why Imam Ali (as) would put the greater good of Islam 1st than go off emotions other would is they put themselves in that position. They assume he would react like them. They portray him as great warrior who would just fight in every instance but shows complete ignorance on the true complete character of imam Ali (as).

What would be a good lecture is showing all times imam Ali showed patience which all Muslims agree on. As other some only portray him as a warrior. The example patience shown during the martyrdom of his wife is the one always disputed. But showing other examples of patience at least lets the open minded see beyond this myth all sahaba were best friends. Even when wars were thought & sahaba killed each other. Still get this ridiculous myth they were best friends

At that time, Umar was the face of Islam. All advices that Imam Ali gave him was for damage control.

@@aliabdulkadhim1344 this is exactly what Shaykh Dr Usama al-Atar has tried to cover in this clip. If you know of the incident of 2 women who claimed to be the mother of the same child, you would understand how much Imam Ali wanted Islam to survive at that time even though in the wrong hands.

Paraoh also came to Nabi Musa (A) and asked Him (A) to pray to Allah to lift the many punishments that Allah send upon the Egyptians, but that doesn’t mean that Nabi Musa (A) and the tyrant Paraoh were in good terms.

@@sarahkareem1251 Did you forget to read the verses before it - ie. 7:130 "Indeed, We afflicted Pharaoh’s people with famine and shortage of crops so they might come back ˹to their senses˺. Its Pharoah's people that came to Musa and not Pharoah. Argument flawed. Make Tauba to Allah for lying upon the Quran.

Surely, if you remove this scourge from us, we will truly believe in you, and will let the Children of Israel go with you.' Who had the power to let the Israelis go with Nabi Musa (A)? The pharaoh or his ordinary people? Plus the ordinary egyptians weren’t friends of Him (A) either yet He (A) still prayed for them.
