Anastazja Kuś proved that she deserved that olympic relay spot. Thats the 4th fastest time by a polish athlete this year behind Kaczmarek, Popowicz-Drapała and Swiety-Ersetic.

Poland have always had strong 4 x 400m relay teams in my lifetime, but the individual strength is amazing now. Although Kuś should be there, this is a "good problem".

Anastazja Kuś is a welcomed addition to the Polish women's team. Particularly this year, when the team is not in an easy situation, because it lost 2 runners from the Polish TOP 5 (Kiełbasińska and Hołub).

Holendrzy . Ale wszystkie zawodniczki prowadzi tam Jeden sprawdzony trener do 400 . A np Nadine Visser Trenowała na wiosnę z Jarosławem Skrzyszowskim w Spale . Ziemia nie będzie kwadratowa .

@@grzegorzlipski6078 No i co z tego ? Widziałeś plany treningowe Femke Bol z konferencji Meuwlego w Polsce .? Tacy wirtualni zawodnicy, wirtualni trenerzy .

Very good job by the 2 Italian girls, it will not be easy (the transition from youth is hard) but I think they will be the future of our female athletics. I went to check the age since the girl came second looked really young to me and I wasn't wrong: the winner girl (Valensin) is a 01-2007 but the second is even younger (Castellani is a 10-11-2008), so she competes with "older" athletes.

I don't expect the announcers to pronounce all the athlete's names correctly, yet when it comes to the official English names of the participating countries, I do. While I generally like the informed and "involved" announcing style, I was shocked (as a Czech citizen who spent years in English speaking countries) to hear the announcer butchering Czechia twice at 11:01 and 11:40 (it's not "Czeczia", Sir, it really is Czechia, pronounced as in "check-ia", if that helps) during the girls' steeplechase race. Nevertheless I commend the improvement by the time the boys' 1500m took place - they got it right both at 13:26 and 14:27. Perhaps someone whose ears felt equally tortured during the steeplechase commentary intervened in the meantime. Whoever they were, I'm grateful to them. Besides that, well done to the announcers, and, of course, all the talented athletes.
