Day 3 in Mandalay

Follow Us as we share with you what we did on our final day of layover in Mandalay, prior to our great train adventure to the final destination in Myanmar!
We had breakfast and checked out of The Link at 78, and made our way to Hotel Marvel. We were warmly received by the hospitality team of the hotel who even invited us for breakfast!
As we had time to spare, we decided to visit some more temples before adjourning to Mingalabar Restaurant, which was ranked as the number 1 restaurant in Myanmar according to Trip Advisor, for lunch. We had a really sumptuous and satisfying lunch!
The day ended with us proceeding back to the hotel to take a short rest before seeing to the check-out formalities.
Now that we looked back at what we did within the short span of a few hours, we could not help but give ourselves 2 pats on our back for jam-packing so much activities to maximise our stay. :P

Gday Jim and Shaun, finally watched the vlog, again the adventure you had is amazing you must stay longer next time so muxh more to see and do in Mandalay. . the food again was awesome and the staff at the restaurant were all smiles and love being on camera it was so cute how the tried not to look at the camera as they kept walking past again Myanmar is one of the most exciting friendliest historic countries I have ever been to.

Hello Gary! If not for the weather, we might have enjoyed it a lot more. Hehe... Mingalar Restaurant really whips up amazingly sumptuous meals. Not forgetting to mention that staff whom you have so correctly observed. Very friendly... always checking on our well-being and never forgetting to smile for the camera. Hehe... it’s such a nice feeling to immerse ourselves and dine in such a wonderful dining setting. Have a lovely evening ahead! :D

Really really nice. I love historical places. And I have to admit, while I am not adventurous when eating, what you guys show looks so good.

Thank you so much David! We love to appreciate historical places too. We try our best to eat and live like the locals when we are overseas. Always in search of good food as well. Hehe... am glad you enjoyed the vlogs. Have a wonderful weekend! :D
