Are there pine trees there? They make a good tea from the needles. Acorns , roasted make good food and bread. My Great- grandmother were Cherokee. I had learn to live the way you are now. Grandpa and daddy would supervise. I am now 82, I may just have to use the old ways some day. Our ancestors new so much.
