Love that! Thank you! Pigeon are not protected and can be killed all year. I will look into any laws that might apply here where I live regarding snaring them. Also in many states (including southern MN) there are Eurasian Collared Doves that are not native and considered “invasive”. All of them are such good eating.

I agree with evcrawfish's request to show us how to make it. Was the perch held on by ? String, peg, .....? To where it was level & looked like a perch? Would wind make trap unusable?

What do you do with the bird after you catch it? How do you get the bird to come, do you call it?

You set the trap up out in a field where there is nothing else to land on. Birds will always look for a place to land, that’s the bait.
