I think O Cebriero is the prettiest town on this Camino

I was watching your videos before I came on the Camino and it really helped with the weather and trail conditions info. Much to my surprise I am now in Portomarin and subject to any delay in posting your videos may be on pace or even just ahead. Wanted to let you know there is another Melbourne peregrino named Sage who is also doing the Camino and you two should bump into each other! Buone Camino!

The important guy in O'Cerbreiro was the local priest of that church, who 'reinvented the mordern day Camino in late '80s early 1990s and started drawing the yellow arrows.

I just realised that the danish man that died was a priest close to were I live. But it was back in April. Just random info.

Please ask Margaret which season she preferred. Her walk in May/June or this one in September. I’m up in the air as to which one I’ll do next year. Thanks

I'm very angry, that's not coffee liquor! That's coffee and Queimada. That is not given to an outsider. Sorry M. I've already seen the waiter's face, I'll talk to him. What the man is eating is Galician stew. Your Galician broth was a little salty because it is made with meat that is preserved in salt. If you don't desalt it well, it can be salty. Seriously, I'm so sorry. It is not the welcome you deserve to my kingdom. In fact, my grandmother said that we were descendants of the last king of Galicia. Hahaha One last piece of advice and I leave embarrassed. Be careful with the Meigas (witches), Lobisomes (werewolves), Trasgos (gobblings) and la Santa Compaña (the Holy Company) and you will be fine. Seriously, I'm so sorry, I'm embarrassed.

@@xangarcia2677 Quemada (punch) sounds delicious. Why isn’t it given to outsiders? I learned something new today🙂. Also, it seems every country has its witches, faeries, goblins, bunyips and leprechauns.

@@annetcell-ly4571 because she asked for coffee liquor and that is not it. The Queimada is made with liquor and with a spell, you cannot force or trick anyone into drinking it.

Now that you are arriving in Galicia, some advice. Don't bother the toads, they are spiteful. I don't know what it's like in Australia but here even though we eat pigs we have great respect for them. If you go to Lalín you will see dozens of statues of them. The rings in the nose of the bulls are to tame them, they are not castrated and their character is very strong. It is not the best system but they have done it this way since time immemorial. A 1.5 m girl with the skeleton of a cattle with that ring has been found in the area. It is believed that they are more than ten thousand years old. One thing I don't understand is that an Australian, with white sharks, crocodiles and more than a hundred poisonous snakes, is afraid of horse flies. On my first Camino I climbed all that mountain looking at a horse's ass. Damn tourists! Hahaha
