Jude brings to mind the current status of our world today. Praying for all the leaders and people to open their hearts and minds to Our Lord and see the errors of today. It is with a hopeful heart that I think I can see the tide turning back to God’s truth.

I’m so grateful for the Bible in a year - in the midst of navigating in a secularized, football on TV for Christmas world, I’m just grateful - please pray for Maureen, who is recovering from a brain tumor removal, Emily who has leukemia and Pedro who has MS and three people who couldn’t go to Mass today because they are sick - pray that bringing Jesus to them in the Eucharist gives them all they need to carry their crosses with Jesus - Merry Christmas everyone.

I’m so conflicted, today I missed Mass again for the 3rd time this Advent. I’ve got a”bug” and sometimes I cough uncontrollably. I hate missing Mass especially Christmas, but I don’t want to expose anyone to this “bug”. It’s not Covid, but I’ve had it for 2 full weeks. Pray for me to receive Gods grace even when I can’t go to Mass.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Father Mike - You finished today’s podcast with a shoutout to those who were stuck in a hospital, nursing home or in prison listening with a reminder that God‘s word is not “in chains”. Your statement hit home! I’m stuck at home unable to go to work/leave the house because I’m sick with Covid. While I usually listen to the podcast in my car on the way to work, I am blessed to be able to follow along in my Bible (on a 10 day isolation)- what a double blessing!! I started this podcast on 1/1/21 bc I needed to hear good and positive news than what’s blared out by our media. It’s been awesome! I see Mass and experience my faith with so much more clarity! Although my family’s Christmas party plans have now been put off for a couple of weeks until we are off isolation, this podcast has been a huge gift that has greatly increased my faith! I’ll be alone this Christmas, but not really. Jesus is with me and I’ll be celebrating His birth tonight watching midnight mass on TV - the real “reason for the season”! Merry Christmas Fr Mike to you and your staff who put together this awesome podcast!

The “word of God is NOT chained.” People are NOT living the way God taught them. Even the angels, rebelled against God!! Our behavior can cause others to rebel. Our sins many times, lead others to sin. God is calling😢 us back to him. There is a warning that we must hear and listen to. It is a us a hard hard lesson and then Timothy blesses us. He mentioned the mothers and grandmothers walk in faith. Please listen because you will be blessed. Remember, Jesus loves us and has given us many powerful gifts and we are called use them for God’s glory.

I know what it is to be in a nursing home. I also know what it feels like when your child "runs" away from the faith. He has also left our family and I know it's partly my fault. December 25, 2023 Round Two Please, do you have just a moment in time to pray for Souls in Purgatory with me? According to tradition, St. Gertrude the Great, was told by Our Lord that each time she piously recited the following prayer, it would release 1,000 souls (or a vast number) from their suffering in purgatory: Eternal Father, I offer You the most precious blood of thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, for those in my own home, and in my family. Amen. In her account of another vision, St. Faustina describes Purgatory as a "great crowd of suffering souls" undergoing purification. Further, she says that the souls are "praying fervently, but to no avail, for themselves; only we can come to their aid" (Diary, 20)
