No shame in resting the hiker feet Dirty Bunny. Another great video, thank you for sharing. The early warm weather is causing some flowers to bloom early. I saw a dandelion in the yard today and thought of all you hikers. You are going to see at ton of them as well, especially in fields, yards, and along roads. They are a great source of vitamin A, vitamin K, and vitamin C and the whole plant is edible raw(leaves, flower, etc). Could be a great Free supplement to the processed foods we all normally pack. Godspeed. Looking forward to your next video.

Love the vistas and woodland videos. Nice job in lessening your load. I'm sure you'll get down even further as the miles piles up. Many of us are following and rooting for you. Thanks for sharing your experience with us 'dreamers'.... Keep on.

You're doing great! Take as many zeros as you need, particularly in the beginning, and especially if you find people you like hanging with, as it seems you have. I was just thinking about you yesterday, wondering how you were doing so it was a great treat this morning to find your videos up -- it's March 4, and my one year Trailiversary which made watching them all the more special. Thanks! Spielberg

Craig M....just a shout out to say, I really enjoyed your (and Highlander58 & SamIAM) At video series last year. You guys all showed us how to accept the trail as it is and keep things going forward.

Thanks, Spielberg. I considered trying to contact you last night because I was having such a hard time uploading videos. I think I finally have it figured out. So far so good and I am absolutely having the time of my life.
@craig.m.spielberg7 жыл бұрын
So glad you figured it out, but feel free anytime to reach out if you think I can help. The wifi in most hostels and hotels is so bad that it's going to be hard sometimes to do the uploads, and it gets really frustrating. Libraries usually have good wifi, and if you have a big data plan on your cell phone you might want to upload when you have a signal -- I did that most times and it usually uploads a lot quicker. Keep having a great time!!!

Looks like you're doing great. Can't offer much advice, but I knew new shoes were in your future. Same thing happened to me this time last year. I got about a half size bigger, and they were perfect for me. Great video and story so far. I think you're the second female I'm following, but definitely better than the other. You're also among the top AT thru hike vloggers so far. Keep it up! Hike on!

Yes I need to get some. Every experienced hiker that looks at my feet says the same thing, "It doesn't look too bad", which makes me very happy.

Hello Hiker Feet ...er, Dirty Bunny, how much weight did you ditch out of your pack and what items?
@HikerFeet7 жыл бұрын
I ditched a pair of pants, mace, a few other things. Can't remember. I think the big thing was overpacking food. WEight down to 32# fully loaded.

You may have already tried this for blisters between toes. I have had that problem too. I like Injinji Performance Mini-Crew Toe Socks, they isolate each toe and prevent the rubbing. They also have thick style and liners. With as much weight as your pack was carring you need to protect feet and knees. Your doing great, keep it positive. lrg
