You are such a hero to all of us. I should call you Professor Camino specializing making hard not hard at all. I am preparing mine in next Easter but still very scare of how to manage the whole trip and walk solo. Your technology skill is admiring like you are just an early 20's who know all the features of smart phone and social media. Hope you have an enjoyable trip home ( i know it is 20+ hours flight with one / two stops in between). Have a good reunion at home. Hoping to see some post camino video from you as well. I loved your tears! They made me cry too! Walking the Camino is so profound. Hi Christine, Congratulations on completing your pilgrimage across Northern Spain. Your well planned journey has reaped many benefits for you and the virtual pilgrims that followed. Changing landscapes, flowing rivers, flowers, and stone structures along with the trials and tribulations of the walk. All of this framed with beautiful music and the sound of your determined voice. Querida peregrina,he observado muy atentamente todos sus vídeos , he sentido una alegría inmensa con su llegada a Santiago de Compostela ,soy española de echo vivo en Logroño ciudad por la que usted ha pasado,como peregrina de edad madura como usted he sentido sus malos momentos como míos y sus triunfos tambié Ha llegado desde tan lejos,,,!!!!!!!!!....quizás y aunque no lo parezca ahora mismo, sentirá en poco tiempo la enormidad que ha realizado y la voluntad y valentía que ha demostrado,espero haya encontrado en el camino ese viaje emocional,esa noria de sentimientos que se suele venir en cada paso,que damos en el camino..muy bonito este documento quiero que lo sepa,si dios quiere o la vida,volveré al camino el próximo año 2025 y será mi tercer camino.le deseo lo mejor para siempre...ah porcierto los nidos que ha visto en el camino eran de cigüeñas....ahora ya emigran hacia lugares más cálidos y regresan en marzo con la primavera.😊😊

😊so happy for you ! The whole set of videos were amazing, specially the way you narrated everything. I’ve seen quite a few stories in KZbin about the whole Camino but yours is the best one so far. Maybe because I think we are similar in age, maybe because when I was younger I almost went to study and live with this family from Australia and New Zealand and you remind me of them. I came to the United States instead. But also I think I enjoyed your Camino because I’m planning on going September of next year. I’m a little afraid of going alone but I need to figure out how to deal with that. So Thank you for sharing your journey , I learned some more. Would love to be your friend. By the way I just turned 63. Best wishes after the Camino!

Thank you for your wonderful daily videos. My life has had a few challenges lately and watching them has brought back so many happy memories of my own caminos. In a camino coincidence, my brother and his partner have also just arrived in S de C after a week on the Portugese.. also from Auckland so if you hear a kiwi accent it might be them.

Hello Christine! Janette from Pennsylvania here. I enjoyed our time together on the Camino and especially liked hearing about your ancestral connections along the way. I left Portomarin in the hurricane but delayed my departure until almost noon in order to let the weather settle a little. Like you, having come that far on my own two feet I was unwilling to take a taxi or bus, and although blustery and wet, arrived at that day's destination unscathed. I arrived in Santiago on the 14th of October, just 2 days after you. Did you go on to Finisterre and throw your stones into the sea?

I am thrilled to receive your comment and hear your news. Sorry I haven’t checked my KZbin comments for a few days. I am so pleased that you also kept walking through the adverse weather. I hope that you have travelled home safely and that this wonderful experience has given you the strength to move forward. It has certainly done that for me… though I must say that I was pretty exhausted at the end and have only just begun walking again in the last few days. No, I got stronger for the first 4 weeks and the progressively slower and tired in the last 2. I simply didn’t have “the gas” to go further. I had an extra week up my sleeve but after 3 nights in Santiago, I’ve going to fly home early :-)

@Xtinedriffill At least a bus combined trip. It is quite worthy! For me was the nicest part the way after Santiago!
