Hats off to you Piyush bro for completing the series as promised. There are so many channels wherein they promise to make a complete series and just vanish. We as learners are stuck in between and don't know what to do next, if we wanna start learning from another channel or source then we have to start the course from scratch. My hearty congratulations and thanks a ton for the excellent content.

Thanks for the great video!!, but I think there is a mistake at 28:00 while you were telling about Q12. Cordon is used for marking the node as unschedulable. Drain performs both marks the node unschedulable and also evicts the node. I think you said the other way round.
@TechTutorialswithPiyush3 ай бұрын
Hello Buddy, thank you for the feedback. Actually Cordon marks the node unschedulable and evicts the pods while drain only evicts the pods. I think I have correctly mentioned in the video, let me know if you still have the doubts.
@rajeshchandran0073 ай бұрын
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush Thats wrong Piyush. Actually, Cordon will make the node unschedulable only. Drain will make it unschedulable as well as evict the pods.

Which is better cka or ckad certification

Hey Piyush, wanted to ask you - if we create something with a declarative command where does it get saved? I mean where can I find the yaml file? Or it doesn't get generated and being directly executed with reference stored only in etcd?
@TechTutorialswithPiyushАй бұрын
Hey, The command doesnt get stored but you can generate the yaml from existing resource once it is created kubectl get pod -o yaml > pod.yaml

One correction .. I think cordon command only make node unscheduled but pods will not evicted but if we do drain then it evict the pods shift to another nodes, and also make the node unscheduled .. correct me if i'm wrong

Cordon will mark the node unschedulable and evict the pods as well Cordon = cordon+ drain Feel free to try it out
