So often I forget that I am being prayed for by my parish priest and others on a daily basis. My earthly human brain often takes over and makes me think I am all alone in this prayer life and boy how wrong I am. Thank you Fr. Mike for reminding me that I am not alone in this prayer life and that I am always on the heart my parish priest (and others) being brought to the Father in heaven. I surrender my earthly human thoughts and graciously accept the prayers of others for me and I pray for them as well. ❤ We are family and family prays with and for each other. Thank you again Fr. I love the fact that these scriptures have a hidden reminder and an appreciation of the profession of the priesthood and the servers of God. Due to their unique uniform and the lifestyle of discipline, they remember the fact that they belong to God and God's children. We must also remember that the priests and those in service of God belong to us and we must care and pray for them as they care and pray for us. We are like a family. It's a beautiful feeling that every priest has an effect on us and we have an effect on him or her (if it's a nun). Thus, I am so happy to know that Fr. Mike , Fr. Mark-Mary and many others had an impact on my life even if I have only met them through the Ascension videos. Their prayers reach worldwide. I hope that my prayers reach them too. These descriptions of the holy things conjure up GORGEOUS IMAGES in my mind and I keep thinking "yes! YES! We love to honor our God with the most beautiful things." ALSO there is an organization that was started by Pope John Paul II called THE DIAKONIA OF BEAUTY that talks about this concept about how beauty glorifies God. Something that occasionally needs to be explained to people who criticize all the beauties of the Vatican and our churches.
