Day 48 special from the Rockies. Cycling across America - The TransAm Eastern Express Bike Route

Day 48, a pivotal talk on situation from 2800 mt (9200 ft), in the Rockies of Colorado. An important document for myself and for anyone interested on following my path. Reflecting on my achievement so far, the difficulties along the way and the uncertainty about the future: will I make it to Oregon? How many days ahead, 35, 40? Will that be enough? My flight is booked and I must make it to Portland. Staying longer is not an option: my ESTA permit could expire and I might loose my privileges as a European tourist. Stay tuned!
