Please see our KZbin videos on Wet and Dry Cat and Kitten Food we recommend at our Cattery. You can find them on our Channel's playlist entitled Cat and Kitten Food Videos. I would recommend giving added Folic Acid and Taurine to any food you feed your pregnant mom.

You will need to do your own research on Taurine and Folic Acid. Your cats might not need the same amount as mine. If you are not seeing any birth defects, I would not give the supplements because they may not be needed. Hope this helps.

No. I do it to make it easier for the newborns to find the nipple. It also helps the mother keep the nipples cleaner.
