Day 7 post-chemo session #2 w/Taxotere & Cytoxan//4 weeks post-chemo session #1

Sorry I missed making a video yesterday.
Today & yesterday (day 6) were good days. No nausea. Energy levels are up. I was able to do my workouts & cardio yesterday & today.
Side effects: slightly dry mouth, buccal mucosa (cheek skin) texture changes, taste aversion.
In terms of hair - slowed re-growth of leg & underarm hair when I shave those areas. Eyelashes & eyebrows are still present. No patches of missing heat on my head.

I just want to say because of the info you have shared I scheduled my teeth cleaning early ! Glad I did , not only did they clean me up they also gave me oral health tips for the journey! I would have never thought of visiting a dentist if not for your hygienist knowledge !!!

You are doing great!! I have seen other ladies have a lot of tiredness, sore stomach etc by now. I wonder if your consistent water intake is helping to minimize those nasty awful symptoms. Keep it up!! You are doing awesome!!

Thank you!! I wonder the same. I’m also vegan 6 days/week too so I also wonder if that helps? I guess I’ll never know but my side effects were very mild for sure

As a dental professional - thoughts on the artificial saliva products ?

@@CS-ow4gl from my understanding, these products mostly help with dry mouth and not necessarily prevent the mouth sores. As someone who went thru chemo, I say if it works for you, use it 💕
