@Aavak you should tell Penta that if he clicks the left MB while on a bike, it "unlocks" the camera, and you can drive with the keyboard

I love listening to Aavak talk about melee builds and conserving ammo during the hoard as all three of his team mates just fire shot after shot from their guns without saying a word.

Aavak's infinite patience this episode is amazing. From trying to tell Wander about what is and isn't an ideal horde base to trying to get them to listen to how zombie pathing works during the blood moon to quickly trying to make an area blood moon ready. The cat herding was in full force and the chaos of it all made this episode truly glorious. The first blood moon is always the most intimidating to new players and kind of overhyped in how dangerous it is.

Given your water woes I'm surprised you haven't pointed out to the gang that not only does red tea have the buff that keeps water usage down, it and goldenrod tea both have 4 more hydration. Every 5 tea is 1 water saved on that alone. Once you have a base, punch all the red and yellow plants and never drink plain water.

Tea ftw!

Another method once you have a water filter mod is to make a 1x1x1 enclosed tile in your base. Get a bucket, fill it with water from a pond or womething, then pour that water into the tile you made, and you have infinite clean drinking water. The only downside is you're not getting the buffs from crafted drinks, but you can still easily make them with all the water you'll be saving from your dew collectors.

I've pointed it out several times XD

I just started playing again after watching this series, and I can't remember if this has been mentioned by anyone(My apologies if it has): There is a perk that *EVERYONE* should get in the agility tree, and that is rank 2 of Parkour. The ability to jump an extra metre of height is *HUGE*, because it means you can escape zombies FAR easier. It also means you can build a base that only players can enter as only we can path to jump two metres up onto a ladder. I had forgotten about the perk, then was wondering why I was finding the game so hard...Then remembered watching Vormithrax and a light bulb flicked on in my head. Rank 1 of parkour is okay, but rank 2 is game changing. The rank that gives you two metres of extra jump makes fighting horde nights on foot without a base actually fun rather than a terrible challenge.
@Aavak9 ай бұрын
That requires everyone to invest a bunch of points in agility just to meet the prerequisits to unlock rank 2 parkour.
@Lumen_Obscurum9 ай бұрын
@@Aavak I believe it's a total of 5 points to get parkour 2, but it means you can jump right on top of say a fence and go over to avoid a particularly nasty enemy like a bear, or a wight. I may be drastically over-valueing it as my Trader Jen sent me to a Tier 2 clear, juuuuuuuuuust inside the wasteland. I got it nearly done, then had to fight a cop and two ferals right at the end. Cop blew up and killed me. It took about half a dozen tries to actually retrieve my stuff since there were bears, a wight, and a feral horde that came charging through while I desperately just wanted my pants back.

From a couple comments one of the guys has made, I think he is crafting one item at a time - like 1 arrow, 1 arrow, 1 arrow, 1 arrow, etc. Someone needs to show him how to use the arrow key to queue up all at once.

Of us all, he's played the least. He and Penta both started with no knowledge of the game, but Penta went on to play a solo game to catch up to speed, but Moddi is enjoying the raw experience of learning as we go (the authenticity of not knowing everything about a game you play is charming, imo)
